Shipping General

  • All parcels are shipped from Korea.
  • Shipping cost is calculated from Korea to the destination country.
  • Every order is normally shipped out within 72 business hours from the time of order confirmation, if a shipping delay occurs, we will inform customers of the issue within 72 hours.
  • We are unable to ship to the following address: P.O. Box, APO, FPO, DPO., this message appears automatically and won’t disappear even after customers enter the full address. As long as customers can proceed to the next stage, then there won’t be any issues.

Shipping Notice

  • According to the local customs policy, If the weight of the box is more than 3kg, you must pay the customs fees. ( The weight shown on the site may differ from the actual weight. )
  • The weight of the box and bubble wrap will automatically be added to the shipping weight when the shipping method is selected.
  • Please note that import duties and taxes are not included in the price of the item. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility.

Order Value Limit

  • Due to customs regulations that can cause extensive delays, StyleKorean limits the maximum order amount to $500 (excluding cost of shipping).
  • Customers who wish to purchase more than $500 are recommended to place two separate orders to avoid customs issues.

Delivery Failure

1. Lost Parcel  
  • Customers need to inform us within 30 days when the delivery status has been marked as “Delivered”, but they haven’t received it so that we can inquire with the shipping company regarding it. 
  • Customers need to cooperate in providing us with proof of evidence such as pictures of any issues that occurred.   
  • A refund can be processed only if the delivery company officially claims the parcel as “Lost”. 
  • The delivery company is not responsible for a stolen or missing package after the delivery to the recipient's correct address, and a refund or redelivery is not possible in this case.  

2. Tax Payment Refusal 
  • If customers refused to pay the customs tax, in which we had stated on the “Shipping Notice” that it is a part of customers responsibility, refund is NOT possible in this case. 
  • Please note that after it is confirmed that customers refuse to pay customs tax until the determined period decided by the shipping company, the whole package will be returned or disposed of, and even when customers change their mind and want to pay it, as it is already too late, refund or redelivery is not possible.

3. Recipient Unreachable
  • In case of incorrect address or contact information on customers’ order, we will send an email requesting the correct information. If customers fail to provide the required information within the determined period decided by the shipping company, the whole package will be returned or disposed of.   
  • Please be aware that refund or redelivery is NOT possible in this case.

If the product you ordered is out of stock at the gadi place warehouses in the USA or Canada, gadi place may ship the product to you from its warehouse in Korea.   
If the product is shipped from our warehouse in Korea, your ordered items will be delivered via DHL.

Customs Tax

  • Customers are fully responsible for any customs related issues, such as Customs Taxes, Import Taxes, Value added Taxes, etc.
  • Customers are required to pay charges such as customs fees, service fee, administration fee, warehousing fee related to customs.
  • Customs issues vary by country, so customers need to contact the local customs office for detailed information to avoid potential problems.

Hazardous Goods

  • Each country has a different policy on Hazardous product issues. Gadi place is not responsible for informing of this information, and so customers need to contact the local customs office to check if the product is hazardous or not.

Customs Payment Refusal

  • We are not responsible for packages refused by customs, despite any reason including refusal to pay tax, banned importing items, and any other customs related issues. When the refused package is returned to gadi place or disposed of, we are not responsible to ship it out again.

Damaged Products

  • Customers must provide the order number, invoice, photos of the damaged products, and, if possible, photos of the packaging at the time of delivery for review.
  • Refunds for damaged products are processed based on internal policies and regulations, depending on the extent of the damage.
  • Re-shipment of the product is not available. We appreciate your understanding.

Missing Products

  • Customers must provide the order number, invoice, photos of all the products received, and, if possible, photos of the packaging at the time of delivery for review.
  • If the invoice is not available, it may not be possible to confirm the product and process a refund.
  • Re-shipment of the product is not available. We appreciate your understanding.

Returned Products

  • Return requests must be made within 14 business days of receiving the product.
  • Please submit your return request via the gadi place chatbot. After submitting the request, we will confirm if the return is eligible and notify you accordingly.
  • Once you receive confirmation that the return is eligible, you must provide the tracking number via the chatbot within 7 days of receiving the shipping label.
  • Returned products must maintain their original packaging and condition (unopened, unused, and undamaged). Otherwise, the return may be rejected. 

      Returns or Refunds Are Not Eligible In the Following Cases:
  1. If more than 14 days have passed since the delivery date.
  2. Products show signs of use.
  3. Products are intentionally damaged.
  4. Products are returned without prior approval from customer service or after a return request has been rejected.
      All returns must be sent to gadi place warehouses.

Returned products will be reviewed and processed after arriving at the warehouse.

Refund Methods

Customers can choose from the following refund options:

1. gadi place Store Points
  • Upon confirmation of your response, points will be immediately credited to your account.
  • Credited points will expire after six months.

2. Original Payment Method
  • Refunds will be made to your payment account (payment gateway) used at checkout.
  • Refunds take a minimum of 2–14 business days to process. 

Returns Due to Customer Responsibility

  • For returns initiated due to customer errors or requests, the refund amount will exclude shipping fees.
  • Even for orders shipped with free shipping, gadi place pays shipping fees to the courier, and these fees will be deducted from the refund amount. 

Note!

  • If the refund amount is negative after deducting shipping fees, customers must transfer the remaining amount to gadi place's PayPal account.
  • Amounts paid with points can only be refunded as points. 

Refunds for Allergic Reactions or Skin Issues Are Not Available

  • Returns or refunds are not provided for allergic reactions or skin issues caused by products sold by gadi place.
  • Please carefully review product ingredients and information before purchasing.

Loss During Return Shipping

  • gadi place is not responsible for losses occurring during return shipping.
  • Customers are advised to use reliable shipping services to ensure the safe return of products.
